Responsibilities & Description

As a SharePoint Online Administrator, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of new Microsoft SharePoint Online sites and collaboration spaces as well as the maintenance of existing sites, Teams and other aspects of our enterprise Microsoft 365 environment. You will play a critical role in optimizing these platforms to meet the evolving needs of our organization, driving automation through Microsoft Power Automate, and ensuring seamless user experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of SharePoint and SharePoint Online, as well as proficiency in troubleshooting issues related to Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Entra Active Directory, permissions, lists, workflows, and more. The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Design, implement, and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and permissions in cloud-based environments.
  • Develop and maintain Microsoft Power Automate workflows to automate business processes and increase operational efficiency.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify technical requirements for new sites and process automations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for SharePoint and Microsoft 365-related issues, including permissions, access controls, and configuration problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze usage trends, and recommend optimizations to enhance platform stability and scalability.
  • Stay informed about the latest updates, features, and best practices in SharePoint and Microsoft 365, and proactively share knowledge with team members.


Education & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of experience administering SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint Online.

Proficiency in designing and implementing Microsoft Power Automate workflows to automate business processes.

Strong understanding of SharePoint concepts, including site collections, content types, web parts, and customizations.

Experience troubleshooting permissions, access issues, list/library configurations, and other SharePoint-related issues.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Microsoft certifications such Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate or historical SharePoint-related certifications are a plus.
